Dear Member Federations,

The project of the new statutes, which will be discussed and decided at our next congress, include a new commission which everyone feels necessary to include into our statutes: a Medical Commission.

The Executive Committee will meet at the world championships in St. Petersburg and discuss this issue. Therefore we kindly ask all federations to nominate candidates for this commission, taking into account that they have some experience with the special problems in fencing and that they are available to work on European Championships.
