Dear Member
Federations,
This is to inform you
about a refereeing seminar of the EFC/CEE which is planned to take place in
Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER) from 12th to 14th October 2007 for foil and
épée and will be conducted by Lutz Schirrmacher, member of the EFC/CEE
Referees Commission.
The Refereeing
Commission will help with this seminar those referees who are candidates for
the FIE examinations in Prag. We want to stress that we are trying to prepare
candidates better for FIE exams and also raise the general level of all refereeing
in Europe. Furthermore, we want to help teach referees to help them spread good
refereeing in their countries also.
The EFC/CEE will
provide hotel and full board from Friday evening (12.10.) to departure on
Sunday (14.10.), and a subsidy of EUR 200 per candidate for travel costs will
be reimbursed. 20 participants for this seminar will be accepted.
A bus transport will
be provided on Friday, leaving the airport at 6 p.m. to take participants from
the Munich airport to Garmisch and return to Munich airport on Sunday at 3 p.m.
(duration of travel around 1 ½ to 2 hours).
Unfortunately we
still do not know which candidates are accepted by the FIE for the Prag exams,
but we invite you to nominate your candidates for this Garmisch seminar
a.s.a.p. so we can prepare everything on time. Hopefully you get the needed
confirmation from the FIE during next week.
