Information Letter no. 30-2007

Dear Member Federations,

this letter is meant to inform you that there is no Extraordinary Congress in Prag!

Some federations have asked for details about an upcoming congress but we decided not to have one as the only reason was to decide on the new statutes.

The Executive Committee of the EFC/CEE had met in St. Petersburg and discussed the proposed statutes of the working group. As the time limits to convene an extraordinary congress were not in accordance with our present statutes, we decided to bring the statutes to the next congress in Kiev for a decision.

In the meantime the COMEX and eventually the working group have the possibility to check the proposed version again very thoroughly, so the final version can be presented at the Kiev congress for a decision.

During the European Junior Championships in Prag our COMEX members are at your disposal for any questions with regard to the statutes. We hope to see many of you at the championships despite our decision.
