Dear Member Federations,

In July 2007 we will organise the European Senior Championships in Gent,

and for the first time we will use wireless fencing for foil and sabre at our

event. This was discussed and agreed at a meeting we had in Moscow

together with the president of the FIE, René Roch.

As the STM Company will be already in Gent, we have the possibility to use

this wireless system also for épée. Unfortunately, until today, our athletes

have no experience with this system.

We therefore kindly ask you whether you would agree to use the wireless

also for the épée event. Please discuss this with your athletes and give us

your answer until the 19.03.2007
