Information Letter no. 08/2006

 

Dear Member Federations,

 

as communicated to you with our Information Letter no. 02/2006 of 29.03.2006, please find attached the agenda and propositions for the Congress in Izmir on 2nd June 2006.

You will receive the following items with some remarks:

1.     Agenda in English and French

2.     Propositions of the German Fencing Federation of 27.04.2006 (15 pages)

3.     Propositions of the COMEX of the EFC/CEE of 30.05.2006 (20 pages)

 

The propositions of the Austrian Fencing Federation cannot be included in original, as they did not come by email but by post, dated 28.04.2005.

No. 1 proposes to increase the number of commission members from 4 to 5.

No. 2 proposes to decide that English will be the official language of the EFC.

The original letters you will get with the mail to follow in a few days.

In the propositions of the German Fencing Federation all proposals are printed in bold and Italic for your understanding. The Russian proposal, approved by the COMEX, has changes in red colour.

 

Until the deadline 1st May 2006 we have received the candidatures for the 2008 European Championships from Italy (Napoli), Ukraine (Kiev) and Bulgaria.

No candidatures so far for 2009.
