Information Letter no. 15-2007
Dear Member Federations,
I
refer to my yesterday’s information letter no. 14-2007 and kindly ask you to ignore this and also ask for apologies for sending
you information which are not conform to the actual FIE rules, although agreed
with the Belgian organisers.
We have to respect the FIE rules for our (Zonal)
European Championships in
Taking into account that some of your fencers still
qualify within your federation’s rankings only after the overseas competitions
in Havanna, Las Vegas, Caracas or Buenos Aires, you still have the chance to
change your registered fencers according rule o.54.2 by sending a fax or email
to the FIE – and please with a copy to the Gent organisers – and make the
necessary change.
I hope that this information is now very clear and
it respects the FIE rules for our zonal championships.
Again, my apologies for sending you yesterday a
different information, this actual one only are valid!
