Information Letter no. 16-2007

Dear Member Federations,

please find attached the following files for the Extraordinary Congress in Gent:

1. Agenda in English and French

2. Minutes of the Extraordinary Congress in Poznan in English and French

3. The draft for the proposed new EFC/CEE Statutes

4. The draft for updated rules of European Championships

5. Proxy form (only valid if personally signed by the federation’s president and stamped with federation’s seal)

The EFC/CEE also informs that we pay for one voting delegate per federation

· Up to 300,00 EUR support for travel expenses

· 2 nights hotel accommodation

· 2 per diems of 75,00 EUR each

There will be a reception of the City of Gent on 30.6.2007, for which we will interrupt our congress. About the continuation we will inform you before we are leaving for the reception, also about the programme for the evening.

We also remind the organisers of future European Championships to make their presentations in maximum 5-10 minutes.

Last minute important information:

We are informed by the Gent organisers of the European Championships that still some federations have not registered their fencers on the FIE website.

This is absolutely necessary to do before 15.06.2007 midnight Lausanne time.
