Information Letter no. 22-2008

Dear Member Federations,

With our Information Letter no. 04-2008 we had asked you to send us your eventual candidacies for future European Championships; attached was a spreadsheet with all events for which we had already organisers or candidates. Until the deadline 15.04.2008 no federation offered to organise a championship.

In the meantime a few federations have asked to allow further candidacies. We answered all that they can bring up their demands at the Congress in Kiev.

Unfortunately early this week Austria withdrew their candidacy for the 2009 U-23 championships, and also no federation asked to organise the 2009 Junior Championships.

Thus we offer these two events for 2009 again. Hungary, as one of the two initiators for the U-23 championships, meanwhile informed us that they can organise this event in 2009 in Budapest, but will make a presentation at the Kiev Congress. Any other candidates are also welcome to make presentations in Kiev.
