Konu: Urgent information for Monza participation
Dear Member Federations,
after several inquries
from various federations I am writing to you again on behalf of the Competition
Commission and its president, Sandro Cuomo:
The rules for Monza were
firstly announced in our Information Letter no. 12-2008 of 09.04.2008 and on
our website: "The European Championships U23 are open to all fencers of
the EFC/CEE member federations who are less than 23 years old on 1st January
2008."
The president of the
Competition Commission clarifies:
"A fencer born on
1st January 1985 can participate; a fencer born on the 31st December 1984 or
before can not participate.
An example: all fencers
born in the years 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 are allowed to participate - all
fencers born in 1984, 1983, 1982 etc. can not particiate!"
We confirm that this is
now the final announcement and definitive - and we think there is no room now
for any additional questions.
