European Cadet Circuit Poznan (2011/2012)Persons
Dlugosz, Martyna Chrzanowska, Marika Szymczak, Anna Sulik, Sandra101 fencers from 20 countries gathered in the city of Poznan to compete for the Adam Mickiewicz Uniwersity Cup. The individual competition started on saturday 14th at 10 o'clock. The day after the individual competitions, 20 teams participated in the second phase of the cup.
The Saturday fights were concluded by an official Gala and the Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań Prof. Bronisław
Marciniak attended aand significantly contributed to the successful held of the tournament.
The Adam Mickiewicz Uniwersity Cup took place in UAM Sport Center (new and modern sport center). The atmosphere was friendly and the progress was smooth. The tournament could be considered a great success as there was a substantial interest from the polish medias. The organizer is already considering organisation in the following year.
The most successful nation was Poland as they occupied 7 out of 8 places in the final.
