The world fencing championship is now finished with the team competitions during the past days. After incredible successes of Italy in the individual competitions their teams did not achieved a single title. The most successful teams were the teams of Russia, that superiored in the three team events.
France prevailed in the men’s epee,Romania striked back against China in the women’s epee, Russia dominated women’s foil and both saber competitions and China gained the day in the men’s foil.
The ranking of nations won the Italy as expected with a massive difference 6 and more medals from the second Russia (5 medals) and third China (4 medals).
