We brought you an exclusive interview with Alexander:

It’s the second success in a row that you manage to achieve on the world cups competitions. It brought you the second place on the world junior ranking loosing only four points to the first place. What were your feelings, did you expect such a success on your way there?

Well, the feeling was great. Though the participation on this world cup wasn‘t as strong as in London. On my way there, I simply knew that I have to win, to finish this year with a good result. Right before the competition I was thinking about I finished 5th in Luxembourg, 3rd in Bratislava 2nd in London so I simply had to win there.

How do you prepare yourself during the season?

The preparation differs from time to time of course. At this time (one week after Leszno) I am not fully training but I am about to start the next week. At the very beginning of the January, the training camp in Mestre, Italy starts my season. From there, I move directly to the world cup in Lignano.

Which competition do you plan to participate on?

As I said, the first one is in Lignano, follows the very important senior world cup in Paris. I will certainly try my chances in Madrid and also the most competitions of the senior calendar. I am planning to participate on the both World and European championships.

What is your goal for the rest of the season?

My ambitions are crystal clear, to qualify for the Olympic Games in London. It is the only thing that matters this year. I would also like to bring the medals from the World and European championships.
