Nuala McGarrity was first elected to EFC Comex in Moscow in 2002 and served until 2009.   After a gap of 4 years, she was re-elected in 2013 and appointed Treasurer which position she still holds.

A foil fencer, she took part in Junior World Championships in Gent and Budapest and Senior World Champiionships in Paris in the 60’s

A widow whose husband died when her 4 children were aged between 4 and 13, she is now a grandmother of 5 girls aged 2 to 6

She has been retired from her professional career of Stockbroker since 2009

She enjoys reading travel books,  theatre, cooking, travelling and being entertained by her grandchildren.
