Three Cities, Three Weapons: Novi Sad, Konin & Riga

Weekend Overview

This 24–25 January 2026 weekend, the European Fencing Confederation Cadet Circuit returns with three exciting international competitions for cadets (U17). Young athletes from across Europe and beyond will compete in individual and team events in all three weapons.

In Novi Sad, Serbia, cadet epeeists — both male and female — will take to the piste in pursuit of early-season success and valuable ranking experience.

At the same time in Konin, Poland, the fastest weapon of all — sabre — will be on display as cadet men and women compete in thrilling bouts of speed and strategy. In Riga, Latvia, cadet foilists of both genders will fight for honours in a strong field of young fencers.

What to Expect

Each of these Cadet Circuit stops is a vital stepping-stone in the 2026 season, giving young fencers the chance to measure themselves against strong international opposition and earn valuable European ranking points. Athletes, coaches, and supporters are encouraged to follow live scoring and results as they become available to see who starts the year strong in Novi Sad, Konin, and Riga.

Best of luck to all competitors — may the bouts be fair, fast, and full of thrilling fencing!
