On the second day of the European U23 Championships in Bulgarian Plovdiv, men's epee and women's foil competitions were fenced.
Allegre Paul (FRA) claimed gold in men's epee competition, after defeating Kolanczyk Wojciech (POL) in the final 15:9. Third places shared Italians Di Veroli Davide and Vismara Federico.
Women's foil event brought another final with France and Poland as main actors, bringing another gold for France with Butruille Selene defeating Walczyk Julia 15:12 in the ultimate match. Bronze medals shared Yusova Victoria (RUS) and Tangherlini Elena (ITA).
