The third day of the European Fencing Senior Championships brought an electrifying atmosphere to Basel, as the event continued to unfold with flawless execution and high-level competition. Today, the public enjoyed not only the thrilling bouts in women's sabre and men's epee but also the final individual bout of Max Heinzer, a Swiss fencing legend and former European and World Champion in team events, who recently became the president of the Swiss Fencing Federation. The championships have truly become a focal point of excitement, showcasing the best of European fencing against a backdrop of exceptional organization and sporting spirit.

In the women's sabre, Spain's Celia Perez Cuenca triumphed, securing the gold medal with an outstanding performance. Hungary's Liza Pusztai claimed the silver, demonstrating her formidable talent. The bronze medals went to Spain's Araceli Navarro and Poland's Zuzanna Cieslar, both delivering commendable performances.
