About the Fencing for Everyone Project
The “Fencing for Everyone” initiative, launched by the European Fencing Confederation, is designed to provide more opportunities for young fencers across Europe and beyond. The project includes four individual and four team tournaments for each weapon and gender, offering a broad competitive platform for athletes aged 13 to 23.
This program emphasizes inclusivity, ensuring that athletes from both U20 and U23 categories can compete in events tailored to their age group. The goal is to create a supportive and competitive environment that enables young athletes to thrive.

This weekend will also feature key international gatherings for the fencing world. On November 30, the International Fencing Federation (FIE) will hold its Congress in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where crucial decisions on the sport’s global development will be made.
Following this, on December 1, the FIE Executive Committee will convene to appoint members to key Commissions and Councils. This event marks an important step in shaping the future of fencing governance.
This weekend’s competitions embody the spirit of the European Fencing Confederation, combining tradition, innovation, and opportunity. As the season progresses, we look forward to celebrating the successes of our athletes and promoting the values that make fencing a unique and inspiring sport.
