With great sadness, we mourn the loss of esteemed fencing coach Tadeusz Paginski. With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a true legend and a beacon of inspiration in the world of fencing.
Tadeusz Paginski began his illustrious career in 1963 as a player for AZS GdaĆsk. It was here that his passion for the sport flourished, leading him to become a coach in 1970.
Under Tadeusz Paginski's tutelage, his students achieved remarkable triumphs, securing over 40 medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships. Furthermore, they earned more than 600 medals at the Polish Championships across various age categories, a testament to their unwavering dedication and the exceptional coaching of Tadeusz Paginski.
EFC President Giorgio Scarso and the entire European fencing community extend their deepest sympathies to Tadeusz Paginski's family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations of fencers.
