On this occasion, the President underlined the importance of the event and his vision for the future: "The European Under 17 Circuit is no less important than Senior competitions - said the top manager of continental fencing.

Competitions of this weekend: this foil circuit in Naples, the saber event “Riposta Cup” in Romania and the epee tournament “Thessaloniki Eurocup” in Greece, are great opportunities for all young fencers. It has always been a winning choice to invest in young people.

Paolo Azzi, President of the Italian Fencing Federation was also present: "The European Cadet Circuit is a great international showcase for the best Under 17 and it is a source of pride to return to host a competition in Italy, among other things very important because it comes less than a month from the European Championships in Tallinn. I am happy that Naples, with its tradition and enthusiasm, welcomes this event dedicated to foil, enriching even more this special year for fencing in Italy, which will see our country organize between July and October 2023 the Olympic World Championship in Milan and the Paralympic World Championship in Terni".
