U14 and U23 Circuits Set for Greece
European Youth Fencing Returns to Thessaloniki
This weekend, 13–14 December 2025, Thessaloniki will become a focal point of European youth fencing as it welcomes two EFC circuits in épée. Young talents from across Europe will compete on Greek pistes in both the U14 and U23 categories, continuing the busy and vibrant pre-holiday period of the international calendar.
U14 Circuit – Building the Future
The U14 Circuit in Thessaloniki will bring together boys and girls in individual épée competitions, offering an important international experience for the youngest generation of European fencers. These events play a key role in the long-term development pathway, allowing athletes to test themselves against peers from different fencing schools and cultures while gaining confidence and competitive maturity.
U23 Circuit – A Step Towards Senior Level
Running alongside the U14 event, the U23 Circuit will see male and female épée fencers competing individually in a category that often represents the final bridge to senior fencing. For many athletes, Thessaloniki will be an opportunity to confirm their progress, sharpen their tactical approach, and gain valuable EFC ranking points as they prepare for the next stages of their careers.
