Europe prepares for three promising youth and U23 competitions

As the fencing community approaches the final weekend of November, three important European circuits will take place across the continent — bringing together Cadet, U14, and U23 athletes for two days of high-intensity fencing and valuable competitive experience. From Copenhagen to Ljubljana and Oslo, young fencers will showcase their potential, test their progress, and gather crucial ranking points before the season turns toward winter events.

Copenhagen – Cadet Circuit Épée

The Danish capital will host both male and female cadet épée fencers, with individual competitions and team events scheduled across the two days.
Copenhagen traditionally attracts a strong international field, offering rising athletes a chance to measure themselves against Europe’s best and strengthen their confidence at this key stage of the season.

Ljubljana – U14 European Circuit

Slovenia welcomes the youngest competitors of the weekend for an intense U14 event in foil and épée.
Individual competitions will run throughout Saturday and Sunday in the friendly, dynamic atmosphere that characterises the U14 European Circuit. For many participants, Ljubljana is an important step in their early international journey — a place to grow, learn, and gain valuable experience.

Oslo – U23 Circuit Épée

Norway will host one of the most meaningful U23 épée stages of the autumn. The Oslo event brings together ambitious young athletes who are transitioning from junior to senior level — many of whom already compete regularly on the European and World Cup circuits.
The mix of international depth and the highly competitive format makes Oslo an essential stop for those aiming to build consistency and maturity ahead of major 2026 goals.
